Insights and CRM Officer

The West Coast Eagles is an iconic Australian sporting brand with over 100,000 members. In its 35-year history, the club has played in six Grand Finals and won four of these (1992, 1994, 2006 and 2018). In 2019 the team launched its own WAFL team followed by an AFLW team in 2020. The club also has wide-spanning community and regional programs and is invested in a number of charity organisations including the Waalitj Foundation.

Working in the Finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, this niche position will have you working autonomously yet building close working relationships with the wider Club departments.

You will be responsible for the management of the Club’s CRM software Microsoft Dynamics (SportsRM), providing income related reconciliations and assisting the finance team by completing ad hoc accounts tasks.The Insights & CRM Officer is responsible for:

  • Reviewing the data in SportsRM and checking compliance against relevant contracts
  • Pulling the data to create PowerBI revenue, budget and pipeline dashboards
  • Overall responsibility for the integrity of the CRM platform, including assisting and training other users
  • Managing the bulk asset creation process
  • Identifying and implementing efficiencies in the current processes and working with the SportsRM representative to initiate changes
  • Ensure SportsRM data is transferred accurately and in a timely fashion to the finance system
  • Reconciliation of revenue areas including: Sponsorship, Match Day Hospitality and Advertising, and Major Events
  • Reconciliation of membership and match income reports, and creating a journal for the finance system
  • Assist in the half and full year audits as required
  • There is a requirement for staff to assist at home match days and other club events, which may include working on weekends.
