Seven Sisters Regional Coordinator

Shooting Stars is an education engagement program that empowers Aboriginal girls and young women to achieve their dreams.

Founded in 2015 Shooting Stars program is now based in 20 schools across Western Australia and South Australia, reaching more than 900 girls and young women. Shooting Stars staff, 85% of whom are Aboriginal, adapt the Shooting Stars program to meet the needs of their community and its participants, providing sport, health and wellbeing sessions, and reward activities within a school-based framework of support, advocacy, and connection.

Shooting Stars is looking for a Seven Sisters Regional Coordinator to facilitate the delivery of its Seven Sisters program across Shooting Stars Kimberley and Pilbara program sites of Derby, Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, Kununurra, Tom Price and Port Hedland.

Seven Sisters is a ten-week module which enables participants to build emotional regulation strategies, develop healthy relationships, and mitigate bullying behaviours, while learning netball skills.
